BENSON – A weekend shooting at a Benson nightclub is under investigation. Around 1:27am Sunday, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at The Junction, located at 791 Tarheel Road.
Authorities said 23 year-old Alan Pascual of Angier was shot while in the parking lot. Pascual was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators have not identified the suspect or released a possible motive. The shooting remains under investigation.
