According to the State Highway Patrol, a driver traveling northbound reportedly fell asleep and crashed into a concrete barrier lining the Interstate 95 work zone near Micro this morning (Friday).
The injured driver was transported to a local hospital. Although the Micro Fire Department kept one northbound lane open and moving, traffic was backed up for several miles following the 10:40am crash.
