SMITHFIELD – The Town of Smithfield is hosting a series of “Government In-Touch” meetings to gather public input on the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget.
The meetings will take place as follows:
March 20th, 6:00 PM – Sarah Yard Center (909 E. Lee Street)
April 3rd, 6:00 PM – Smithfield Fire Station #2 (1200 W. Market Street)
April 8th, 6:00 PM – South Smithfield Elementary (201 W. Sanders Street)
April 10th, 6:00 PM – Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center (600 M. Durwood Stephenson Pkwy.)

“These meetings provide an opportunity for residents to have a direct impact on how resources are allocated in the upcoming budget,” said Town Manager Michael Scott. “We want to hear from the community and ensure that our budget and goals reflect the priorities of our residents.”
Residents are encouraged to attend and share their priorities on key issues such as public safety, infrastructure, parks and recreation, and more.
