SMITHFIELD – In a unanimous vote, the Smithfield Town Council approved the following board appointments during their Nov. 14, 2023 meeting:
– Sonny Howard – Recreation Advisory Commission (reappointed to second term)
– Tyree Minor – Recreation Advisory Commission (appointment to first term)
Now the new board needs to fire Mike Scott. He is running Smithfield into the ground! He is not the kind of town manager that Smithfield needs!
Yes something has to be done about the traffic snafu on 70 east bound, there is a need for a traffic light immediately by the underpass. Thank you.
