A van owned by First Baptist Church in Smithfield was vandalized overnight Wednesday while parked outside the church.
Between Wednesday night and Thursday, someone broke out a window to a 2006 Ford van parked next to the church at 202 South Fourth Street.
Police Captain R.K. Powell said damage was estimated at $500.
Powell said no items were reported missing from the van.
