Smithfield Town Clerk Shannan Parrish was recognized last week by Mayor Andy Moore and the Smithfield Town Council.
The first full week of May is recognized each year as Professional Municipal Clerks Week.
Mrs. Parrish was recognized by town leaders for her vital role and dedication to the Town of Smithfield.
