A traffic stop early Tuesday morning lead to the arrest of a Smithfield woman on felony drug charges.
Around 2:00am, a Smithfield police officer stopped a Toyota Camry for a traffic violation on Booker Dairy Road near Buffalo Road. During the stop, 18.8 grams of marijuana was allegedly found.
Tangi Robbin Copeland, 28, of Landmark Drive, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Copeland was booked into the Johnston County Jail under a $10,000 bond.
