Arson is suspected as the cause of fire that destroyed a stolen car.
Around 7:30am last Thursday, a property owner located a 2004 Lexus in a field off Weaver Road outside of Kenly. The vehicle had been abandoned and burned.
The vehicle was owned by a Creedmoor, NC woman. It had been reported stolen hours earlier to Raleigh Police.
No arrests have been made.
