Insurance will cover the majority of the cost to replace the roof at the Harrison Building in Selma.
A February storm blew off a portion of the roof to the town-owned building which houses the Selma Senior Center and Harrison Center for Active Aging programs.
Selma Town Manager Jon Barlow told the Selma Town Council Baker Roofing replaced the roof at a cost of $63,946.
The town’s portion of the bill was only $500. The remaining cost, including emergency repairs made to the building in February, will be reimbursed to the town.
