A high school student was arrested last week following an affray on school grounds.
The incident was reported last Wednesday at West Johnston High School near Benson.
Aaron Michael Hunt, 16, of Old Cabin Court, Angier was reportedly involved in a fight with another 16 year-old student while in the hallway. The other student sustained a possible broken nose during the altercation.
Hunt was charged with assault inflicting serious injury. He was released on a $1,000 secured bond. No information was released on possible disciplinary action by school administrators.
