WENDELL – Criminal charges have been filed against a suspect who reportedly fired a gun into a neighbors home.
Justin McCane Guyton, age 36, of Evans Lane, Wendell, a Johnston County address, was arrested May 10.
On April 28, a neighbor reported they heard gunshots and Guyton yelling. They reportedly discovered bullet holes in their doublewide home and a utility trailer in the yard. The total damage was estimated at $1,200. Several projectiles were recovered as evidence.
Johnston County deputies charged Guyton with felony discharging a weapon into occupied property, two misdemeanor counts of injury to personal property, and one misdemeanor count of injury to real property.
No injuries were reported.
