Suspect Accused Of Shoplifting Quantity Of Pokemon Cards

KENLY – A Wilson, NC woman is facing a charge of felony larceny after her arrest by Kenly Police.
Corey Leigh Joyner, age 46, was arrested by police officers around 3:43pm Thursday after responding to a shoplifting complaint at the Petro Truck Stop.
Police allege Joyner stole over 225 Pokemon cards, children’s reading books, and deviled eggs. The thefts allegedly occurred over a period of several days. It wasn’t until Thursday until she was located by police before she could leave.
The stolen items had a combined value of $2,654.90.
Joyner was held on a $25,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Jail.
