An ongoing investigation into the illegal sale of prescription pills in the Johnston County area has led to the arrest of a Four Oaks man.
Joey Randolph Williams Jr., 25, of the 700 block of Kenan Road, Four Oaks was arrested Thursday afternoon.
Williams had reportedly been under investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division for 18 months, dating back to October 2014. He was charged with 10 felony offenses, including 8 counts of trafficking in opium or heroin and two counts of conspiracy to traffic in opium or heroin.
He was placed in the Johnston County Jail under a $250,000 bond. No additional details about the arrest or undercover investigation was released.
