CLAYTON – A Clayton man is being held under a $200,000 secured bond following his arrest. Mauricio Gonzalez-Privedo, of Irvan Street, was arrested Jan. 31 by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
Gonzalez-Privedo is facing four felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a child. A report was filed with the sheriff’s office on Jan. 8, 2024 and had been under investigation since that time.
The 42 year-old suspect is accused of alleged sex crimes involving a minor child over a period of approximately 10 years.
