A Smithfield man has been charged with three counts of indecent exposure for incidents that occurred at a busy Clayton shopping center.
A customer at the Clayton Walmart reported seeing a man allegedly playing with his genitals inside a gold Chevrolet Trailblazer in the parking lot of the store off US 70. The victim was able to record the suspect with a cell phone during this activity, as well as capture his vehicle type and his license plate as he drove away.
The description of the man and the SUV also matched two other similar indecent exposure reports, according to Clayton Police.
Clayton officers were able to track down the 37 year-old suspect who allegedly confirmed he was driving the vehicle at the Walmart.
Robert Allen Jones, II, of Lakeside Drive in Smithfield, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure.
