Suspect Linked To Dump Trailer Theft

FOUR OAKS – Deputies with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a suspect for the larceny of a dump trailer stolen from a southern Johnston County resident. The victim said someone removed a $10,000 trailer from their home in the 9000 block of Harper House Road, in the Bentonville community, between July 28 – 31.

Following an investigation, Edward Glyn Long, 42, of the 6900 block of Harper House Road, Newton Grove was arrested August 10 and charged with felony larceny. Long was held on a $20,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Detention Center.

At last report, the stolen dump trailer had not been recovered.
