Selma Police are asking for assistance solving a number of car break-ins.
Police Chief R.A. Cooper says approximately 15 vehicles were entered over the past month in all sections of town. All of the vehicle had been left unlocked.
Captain R.L. Daniels said the thieves have taken laptops, electronics, money, and tools.
Police released an image from a home security camera of a suspect wanted for questioning in the car break-ins. Anyone who recognizes the individual is asked to contact Selma Police at 919-965-8189.
Officers want to remind car owners to keep your vehicles locked at all times, even in the driveway of your own home. And keep values out of sight and whenever possible locked in your trunk or locked inside your home.
