Suspects Ram Car Into Business During Early Morning Burglary

CLEVELAND COMMUNITY – Authorities are searching for multiple suspects involved in a bold early-morning break-in at a local business.

The incident occurred around 4:35 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, at Cleveland Vape & Tobacco, located at 11007 Cleveland Road, Garner in the Cleveland community.

According to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, security footage shows a silver Hyundai passenger car ramming the back entrance of the business to force entry. Shortly after, a red Honda pulls up, and approximately five individuals are seen exiting the two vehicles.

Once inside, the suspects quickly stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene in the two vehicles.

The sheriff’s office is actively investigating the case and reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspects. So far, no arrests have been made.
