Fuel spilled from a saddle tank on the semi. Traffic was detoured around the accident scene until clean up efforts could be completed.

No serious injuries were reported.

The State Highway Patrol is investigating.

Wonder if this pickup driver with “stay alert” is the same one that is always passing people on 42 hwy between flowers and 96 and a very high rate of speed.
Definitely, I saw this guy pass cars going at least 70mph THROUGH!!! the 4 way stopsign on 39 and old beulah. I called in on him and they don’t care. Read the reviews on Google for the company stay alert. We’re not the only ones that have seen this crazy driving
Those First alert guys are constantly pulling out in front of people on that section of 96 HWY. They stop in the middle of the road without giving the traffic behind them adequate time to slow down. And standing in the roadway not paying attention. Maybe now they will learn their lesson…
Ore people…more wrecks.
It sure was a Mirical that no one was seriously injured in this wreck.
What everybody needs to do is slow down in these work zones before yall cause another fatality. The public is supposed to adhere to there lights and slow down. They need to start issuing citations for disregard.
