Temple Baptist Church in Selma will be marking their first anniversary of Celebrate Recovery with a free concert featuring Chris August on Friday, February 3rd at 7:00 pm.
August is a contemporary Christian singer songwriter from Garland, Texas. He became a Christian when he turned 15 and began recording music after his father built a studio in their home.
In 2011 he won the New Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year awards at the GMA Dove Awards. Some of his songs include “Starry Night”, “Center of it” and “Restore”.
Temple Baptist Church is located at 1250 South Pollock Street (US 301) in Selma. John Eklund is the Celebrate Recovery Pastor. The public is invited to attend.
