A break-in at Archer Lodge Middle School is under investigation. On Monday, faculty discovered break-ins at the dugouts on the ball fields, including entry into storage sections of the dugouts.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident that is believed to have occurred sometime Sunday or early-Monday morning. No items were reported missing.
In January, break-ins were reported at Corinth Holders High School on Applewhite Road and at the Johnston County Schools Middle College on the campus of Johnston Community College in Smithfield. An $11,000 all-terrain vehicle was stolen from Corinth Holders and approximately $3,600 in items were taken from the Middle College.
Sheriff’s detectives are also investigating those incidents.
