The wreck occurred about 5:30 p.m. on Tew Road near Baptist Chapel Road in the Clement community.

Mr. Williams was driving a Nissan SUV when he crossed the center line and hit head-on a Nissan passenger car driven by Ms. Lee.

Two passengers with Mr. Williams, his wife and 1-year-old daughter, were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The investigating trooper said alcohol was not a factor and those involved had on seat belts.

Miss Lee is a 2013 Midway graduate and an instructor with On Pointe Dance Academy in Dunn.

Shortly before the accident she had visited two little girls at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center who had been in a car wreck earlier Saturday. Her last post was, “I love you and will see you tomorrow.”

Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson is handling Miss Lee’s funeral arrangements.

Mr. Williams is also a Midway graduate where he played football.

Williams’ brother posted a Go Fund Me listing at https://www.gofundme.com/2bavr9ng. He writes Jason Williams’ family has no insurance to “put them to rest.” As of Monday afternoon about $1,300 out of $2,000 requested had been raised. Courtesy The Dunn Daily Record
