Three Injured In NC 42 Crash; Driver Charged

KENLY — A morning commute turned chaotic Tuesday when a passing attempt on N.C. 42 ended in a head-on collision involving three vehicles, sending three people to the hospital, according to the N.C. State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 7:35 a.m. on N.C. 42 East near Creech Church Road.

Troopers said a white pickup truck driven by 18-year-old Marco Alarcon, of Wilson, was traveling westbound when he attempted to pass another vehicle and crossed into the oncoming lane. The pickup collided head-on with an eastbound blue SUV.

A blue pickup traveling behind the SUV was also struck as the driver attempted to avoid the crash.

Three people, including a pregnant woman, were transported to WakeMed with injuries described as non-life threatening.

The Highway Patrol charged Alarcon with careless and reckless driving, unsafe passing and no operator’s license.

      • Well first Trumps not a pedo, second hold the people in NC accountable, you know the ones that keep voting the same ole people back in these positions. That don’t change anything! Trump has nothing to do with the state laws!

      • Yes they do – they do not care – as long as they can hate the immigrants and all the other culture wars he promotes – they will turn a blind eye to his crimes (fake news) and absolve him of any wrong doing.
It truly is a cult at this point – there is no other excuse – I mean – over 38,000 times and they still do not care.

  1. Trump being in office does not stop people from driving without licenses. There are Americans who do not have licenses and drive as well. What is Trump doing about that. Every little thing that happen doesn’t always come back to politics. When are people going to take responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming someone else.

  2. Why does someone with no driver’s license even think it’s okay to get behind the wheel of any vehicle. Hey stupid, laws exist for a reason and UBER exists for a reason!

    • I’m sorry are you gonna pay for my uber everytime I have to go somewhere. Or to get me to work or home from work. Because I know for a fact on the wage I’m making and the amount of bills I’m paying I definitely can’t afford that. Not making excuses. Yes you should definitely have a license however it’s not always the case….-sincerely a person who has driven without a license and never been in a wreck and can drive better than most with a license 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
