CLAYTON – A three-car motor vehicle collision sent at least four people to Wake Med, Monday night.
The accident occurred around 10:30pm when one car failed to yield at the intersection of Barber Mill and Big Pine Road and collided with another passenger car. A third car then failed to see the wrecked cars on the dark roadway and crashed into at least one of them.

There were two children in one of the wrecked vehicles.
Barber Mill Road was shut down for over an hour as a result of the accidents.

The NCSHP investigated the two collisions as separate accidents.

Charges are pending.
More people, more congestion, more wrecks. Gotta love that growth
That’s a bad intersection. I was rear ended there while stopped waiting for someone to turn. What’s worse are the people who don’t pay attention because they are on their phones!
Prayers for all that was injured.
