Tippett Defeats Jenkins In District 2 School Board Race

JOHNSTON COUNTY N.C. – Incumbent Terry Tippett won a decisive victory over Jeremy Jenkins in the March 3 Republican primary for Johnston County Board of Education District 2.

Tippett received 12,158 votes (73%), while Jenkins tallied 4,506 votes (27%), in unofficial results.

Mr. Tippett has no Democratic opposition on the November ballot for school board.
