A rash of car break-ins in Micro could be connected.
Four vehicles were broken into at adjacent homes on West Main Street in Micro. The thefts were discovered Sunday.
Three victims reported four cars – all of which had been left unlocked – parked in the driveways of their homes were entered sometime between midnight and 5:30pmon Sunday.
Money, sunglasses, a wallet, financial cards and personal identification cards were stolen from the vehicles.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cases. Investigators encourage people to keep their cars locked even in the driveway of your own home. Also keep valuables out of sight. And when possible, park in a well-lit area.
At last report, no arrests have been made.
