A large amount of alcohol was stolen from a nightclub during a break-in discovered Friday night.
Someone broke into The Junction, a club located at 791 Tarheel Road near Benson, last week while the business was closed.
Once inside, surveillance cameras showed the suspect steal nearly $1,400 in alcoholic beverages. The thief also stole a 55 gallon trash can and a DVD player valued at $75 each.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has assigned a detective to the case. There are no suspects in the case.
