A truck struck a home early Friday morning in Johnston County.
Around 3:00 AM a resident on Majestic Lane in the Cleveland community happened to be away. They said they heard a large diesel truck coming down the street. The truck ran off the roadway, drove through their yard, and struck their home adjacent to their bedroom window.
The unidentified female driver was checked out at the scene by Clayton EMS workers but was not taken to the hospital. The driver was however taken into custody by state troopers.
No one inside the residence was injured.
