The deaths of two teenagers found in a Johnston County home Monday afternoon were ruled Tuesday as a murder-suicide.
Around 5:30pm Monday, deputies responded to 206 Clayton Road, Angier for a report of a double shooting. Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said two 14 year-olds were found dead inside the home. One was a female the other a male. The male was a resident of the address. The father of the male victim returned home and discovered the incident.
Investigators said the deaths were a murder-suicide. Due to the ages of the teenagers their names are not being released.
Autopsies are being performed by the State Medical Examiner.
