Two Arrested During Four Oaks Police Drug Raid

Police seized six small marijuana plants and two grams of cocaine from an apartment during a drug raid late Wednesday night.

Four Oaks Police said it marks the third drug raid in recent months at the Twin Oaks Apartment Complex.  A search warrant was executed at an apartment in the complex on Surles Drive.

Police said they found a 2 year-old child in a bedroom where powdered cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found.

Jesse Danzig Robinson, 21, and Tiffany Brooke Shepard, 22, of Surles Drive, Four Oaks were both arrested on three felony and two misdemeanor drug charges.  Shepard was also charged with child abuse, according to Chief Stephen Anderson.

The Johnston County Department of Social Services responded to the scene and placed the 2 year-old child in the custody of a relative.

A Smithfield Police K-9 unit also assisted with the search warrant and two arrests.

Four Oaks Police said the raid was part of an effort to rid the community of drugs.   The apartment complex is located less than a mile from the police department.  Photos by John Payne
