ARCHER LODGE – Three people sustained injuries in a two car collision, Friday night. The accident was reported just before 9:30pm on Covered Bridge Road, just west of the Northside Fire Department, in Archer Lodge.
One driver was pinned in his SUV and suffered serious injuries. A total of three victims in the two vehicles were rushed to WakeMed.
The busy roadway was completely shut down for nearly three hours.
The State Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
