Two people were injured Sunday morning when a wrong way driver struck a pickup truck on Interstate 40 in Johnston County.
An 18 year-old driver was headed eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-40 when he sideswiped a pickup truck at the 310 mile marker near the Johnston-Wake County line. The car then struck the median cables.
Both drivers were transported to Wake Medical Center in Garner for non-life threatening injuries.
