Two Kenly Men Arrested On 36 Felony Drug Charges

Two Kenly men are facing a combined 36 felony charges after their arrests following a drug investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division.

WTSB News has learned 49 year-old James Anthony Allen, of the 6100 block of Flower Hill Road, and Stephen Earl Hall Jr., 34, of the 5700 block of Flower Hill Road, were arrested during a traffic stop on US 301 north of Selma late-Wednesday.

Agents disclosed few details about the investigation but said it involved the sale of methamphetamines and marijuana.  Allen was arrested on 20 felony charges and Hall on 16 felonies.  Both men are facing multiple counts of selling marijuana, delivering marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance.

Allen was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $250,000 bond. Hall was held under a $200,000 bond.
