SELMA – Two people were transported to WakeMed after a car overturned on Buffalo Road near Pond Avenue, south of Highway 42 East.
The accident was about 8:35am today (Thursday). A witness reported the vehicle was traveling northbound on Buffalo Road when it crossed the centerline nearly striking her car head on. The vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck a driveway culvert, and overturned several times.
Both occupants were ejected from the vehicle. They were transported to WakeMed with unknown injuries.
Wilson’s Mills Fire and Johnston County EMS responded to the scene. The State Highway Patrol investigating the accident.
