Two Restaurant Break-Ins Under Investigation

JOHNSTON COUNTY — Authorities are investigating whether two restaurant break-ins discovered early Thursday morning are connected.

The incidents were reported at the Hwy 55 located at 5805 U.S. Highway 301 in Four Oaks and at another Hwy 55 restaurant at 152 Bratton Drive near Interstate 40 in the Cleveland community.

In both cases, the front glass door was shattered and an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the cash register.

The Four Oaks Police Department and the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office are investigating

    • The one in Four Oaks is not, I can see it from my home and it’s on a heavily traveled road in town. As much as FOPD drives through, I am shocked anyone would attempt this.

    • I used to live in Four Oaks & the police didn’t do nothing then but harass ppl, I would never expect them to be on the level of actually being a “serve & protect” type of team. Sad but true ‼️
