ARCHER LODGE – A section of Buffalo Road near Archer Lodge was closed for more than two hours this morning (Friday) after a pickup and SUV collided.
A northbound SUV carrying a mother and her three children collided with a southbound pickup truck with three occupants around 7:30am on Buffalo Road near Lake Wendell Road. A total of 7 patients were checked out at the scene by Johnston County EMS. Several were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The State Highway Patrol charged the SUV driver with a lane control violation for reportedly crossing the centerline causing the crash.
