Tylyia Triggs, a rising Senior at Neuse Charter School, has been selected to attend a national leadership conference with the North Carolina High School Athletic Association. Triggs will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana for the National Federation of State High School Association (NFSH) National Student Leadership Summit.
“I am so excited for Tylyia and I can’t wait to hear all the ideas that she brings back that will help Neuse Charter and the state. These young adults are our future and she is doing a great job growing into a strong leader,” said Gail Browning, Athletic Director at Neuse Charter.
Tiffany Walker, Tylyia’s mom, said of this leadership role, “It is awarding her some great opportunities! The best thing is she gets to represent the place we love… Neuse Charter!”
According to NFSH, the summit provides a forum for student and adult leaders from around the country to discuss contemporary issues facing high school athletics programs and activities.
