There were 5 adults and 4 children in the minivan, that had seating capacity for seven people, authorities said.

None of the four children – ages 4 months, 2, 6, and 8 – were secured in child or booster seats. The 4 month-old died from her injuries.

Kamorrie Brown is the father of the 4 month-old who was tragically killed.

This week, the Highway Patrol downloaded vehicle data from the minivan and determined the vehicle was traveling at approximately 80 miles per hour at the time of the early morning accident. The posted speed limit is 65 mph.

Two adults in the van allegedly told troopers Brown was not the driver but during questioning at the hospital Brown admitted he was behind the wheel. However, Mr. Brown is accused of delaying the investigation into the wreck. How he delayed the investigation has not been released.
