CLAYTON – Law enforcement officers are investigating a vandalism incident and attempted break-in at a Johnston County middle school. The incident was discovered Monday by school staff at Swift Creek Middle at 325 Norris Road outside of Clayton.
Sometime between 11:00pm Sunday and 9:00am Monday, someone spray painted graffiti on the parking lot and football field. The suspect or suspects also tried to break into a concession stand.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office recovered evidence at the scene and are investigating.
