HARNETT COUNTY – A 23 year-old woman has been charged with the 2023 stabbing death of her husband.
On January 5, 2024, the Harnett County Sheriff’s office arrested Luzysol Gonzalez De La Fuente of Sanford for second degree murder. The felony charge stems from an investigation where Harnett County Sheriff deputies responded to the family home on Lizzie Jeter Lane in Cameron for a domestic incident on June 25, 2023.
Investigators discovered Ms. Gonzalez De La Fuente had fatally stabbed her husband, Jose Sorriano Paulino, age 24, in the heart.
Authorities said an autopsy and further investigative actions revealed that the stabbing was not self-defense as previously claimed by Ms. Gonzalez De La Fuente. At last report she was being held under a $500,000 secured bond at the Harnett County Detention Center.
