A large fire burned 10 acres, a mobile home and several vehicles Friday. It happened in the 1400 block of Rhondale Road off Old Beulah Road in the Shoe Heel Community.
Several local fire departments responded. They were assisted by the NC Forestry Service.
There is no immediate report on the cause of the fire which was first reported at 11:46 am.
