A $1,000 reward is being offered by a Kenly area business for the arrest and conviction of two suspects who broke into as many as 29 storage units on the morning of Sunday, April 23rd.
It happened at 42 East Storage at 757 Creech Church Road. It is the same location at NC Golf Cars Plus.
Surveillance cameras captured two male suspects force open a fence to gain entry. Once inside they cut the locks on 29 storage units and took items out of several of the lockers. One person reported a flat screen TV valued at $675 had been stolen. Tools worth $875 were taken from another storage unit. Damage to the fence was estimated at $1,000.
The suspects were operating a white 4 door passenger car, possibly a Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable.
