18-Year-Old Charged After Vehicle Driven Onto High School Fields

CLAYTON — An 18-year-old Clayton man has been charged with damaging athletic fields at Cleveland High School after allegedly driving a vehicle onto school property.

According to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred during the early morning hours of Nov. 30, 2025. Deputies allege Joshua Patrick Henry, of Woodridge Court, intentionally drove his vehicle onto the school’s football practice field, soccer practice field and front lawn, causing damage.

The incident was captured on school security cameras. Following an investigation, Henry was identified as the driver and arrested Jan. 10, 2026.

Henry was charged with reckless driving to endanger and injury to real property.

He was released from custody after posting a $2,500 secured bond.
