Two Injured When Truck And Car Collide
Two people were injured, one seriously, after a pickup and passenger car collided Wednesday morning outside of Selma. The crash was reported at 7:25am at the intersection of Highway 96 North and Thanksgiving Fire Department Road.
The driver of a Toyota Prius was rushed to Wake Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the pickup was taken to Johnston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash still remains under investigation.
Johnston County EMS, the Thanksgiving Fire Department, and State Highway Patrol responded.
