FOUR OAKS – The theft of building materials from a new home construction site near Four Oaks has been solved.
On Feb. 12, an employee with Mattamy Homes of Cary reported 70 sheets of plywood had been stolen from a jobsite on Barbour Farm Lane.
Johnston County deputies arrested David Noe Leon Rivera, age 43, of Suncreek Drive, Benson on Feb. 23. Rivera, who allegedly confessed to the theft, was charged with felony larceny. He was later released on a $10,000 bond.
He was going to build a doghouse or maybe it was a dog mansion.
