BAYADA Group Honors Rep. Donna White For Home Care Advocacy

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. – State Rep. Donna White (R-Johnston) has been recognized by a home care advocacy organization for her work on issues affecting patients who receive care in their homes and communities.

BAYADA Hearts for Home Care presented Rep. White, who represents House District 26, with its 2026 Legislator of the Year Award on Sept. 8.

The organization cited White’s support for home and community-based care and efforts aimed at strengthening North Carolina’s home care workforce.

White is a registered nurse and has used her healthcare background during her service in the General Assembly, including work on issues involving patients, caregivers and access to care.

BAYADA Hearts for Home Care priased Rep. White for her work with home care advocates and support of efforts to address workforce shortages and improve access to services for people who receive care at home.

The organization advocates for policies affecting home health care patients, families and caregivers.
