Bicyclist Seriously Injured In Downtown Collision
SMITHFIELD – A man on a bicycle was seriously injured after being struck by a pickup truck. The accident happened on Market Street near Front Street in Downtown Smithfield.
Smithfield Police are investigating the crash reported around 12:40pm today (Thursday).
The victim was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
