Burlington Stores And Five Below Join Lineup At Berkeley Mall

GOLDSBORO — Berkeley Mall in Goldsboro welcomes two new tenants to its lineup. On Friday, March 29, Burlington Stores will hold its ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony at 8:45am.

Burlington is a national discount retailer offering low prices every day on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home. On Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30, the first 100 customers, ages 18 and up, will enjoy a $10 Bonus Card to be used toward their purchase. Customers will also receive a free Burlington umbrella, while supplies last, no purchase necessary.

To celebrate the Grand Opening of their new store location and highlight their ongoing commitment to adding value to communities, Burlington will be presenting a $5,000 AdoptAClassroom.org donation to Meadow Lane Elementary School.

“Our goal is to continue to offer area residents low prices on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” said Michael O’Sullivan, CEO, Burlington Stores. “We’re continuing to expand our footprint across the country and are excited to be opening a new store in Goldsboro. We look forward to giving local customers the chance to discover big savings on a wide range of products.”

The new store brings the total number of Burlington Stores in North Carolina to 30, and they continue to expand their footprint. With more than 1,000 stores open nationwide at the end of Q4 2023,

Joining Burlington in the former Sears space is Five Below (9,700 sq. ft.), which opened earlier this month. Five Below offers trendy, high-quality products loved by tweens, teens and beyond. Most items are priced between $1 and $5 with some items priced beyond $5 in the Five Beyond shop.

Located in the heart of Goldsboro, on North Berkeley Boulevard, Berkeley Mall is the only enclosed regional mall in the area. The 458,000 square feet of retail is anchored by Belk and JCPenney along with many other popular national brands. Berkeley Mall is a family legacy property for a North Carolina developer and is managed by Childress Klein.
