The motorcycle struck the driver’s side of the truck, ejecting Wise.
Wise was transported to WakeMed Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Myers was not injured.
According to court records, Myers is scheduled to appear in Johnston County District Court on January 29, 2026.

Misdemeanor and death shouldn’t even be in the same sentence! Failed to yield at a stop sign? How about failed to STOP at a stop sign! That’s what they’re there for! A man’s life was taken and y’all trying to sugar coat it! It’s just wrong!
You’re da*n right! Failed to stop and it took my dear friend’s life.Sounds like they’re sugar coating it to me too.How can the loss of life be a misdemeanor?
I agree with Zena the man is dead charge the driver of the truck with murder
