SMITHFIELD – A warrant has been obtained for a suspect following an attempted residential break-in. The incident happened around 5:16am Monday, March 11.
A resident in the 200 block of E. Davis Street called police after the suspect attempted to enter the home. The suspect also damaged a solar motion light and a privacy fence. Total damage was estimated at $215.
Police did not release the name of the suspect pending their arrest.
Wonder why Smithfield PD wouldn’t release the name of the suspect.
Could be a minor
